About Green Stapler

Why should I trust Green Stapler with my financial documents?
We understand that financial records and personal documents are sensitive. Our process is structured, confidential, and handled by an experienced process-oriented team. We work through defined documentation systems and maintain strict data confidentiality throughout the engagement.
What makes Green Stapler different from other recovery firms?
Execution strength. We have been operating since 2012 and were among the early professionals assisting investors with IEPF recoveries when the framework was introduced. Our strong working relationships with Companies and RTAs help in smoother verification. We also maintain a dedicated Delhi coordinator for consistent IEPF follow-ups. And most importantly: we follow a Zero Project Abandonment Policy.
Do you abandon cases if they become complicated?
No. Many recovery cases involve documentation gaps or legacy issues. Our approach is to structure the problem, not exit it. We evaluate feasibility at the beginning and then pursue the case with consistent follow-up.
How experienced is your team?
Our team consists of documentation specialists, coordination managers, and recovery executives with practical experience in share transmission, IEPF recovery, unlisted shares, and regulatory documentation. We are process-oriented — which reduces errors and delays.
Do you operate across India and for NRIs?
Yes, we operate across India and also assist NRIs globally. In addition to our teams in Delhi and Kolkata, we have partner networks in multiple cities and an expanding presence in countries such as Australia and Canada. This allows us to coordinate efficiently with clients for seamless case handling.
How do I begin the recovery process?
You can share basic details through our enquiry form or speak to our team. We first evaluate feasibility, then provide a clear roadmap of documentation and timelines.
Is your fee structure success-based?
Yes, our engagements are largely success-based, with the primary fee payable after successful completion. A small initiation token is taken to formally start the case and begin documentation work. The complete commercial terms are shared transparently after reviewing the case.

If We Contacted You

Why have we contacted you?
Our team reviews publicly available shareholder records and company disclosures where details of unclaimed shares or dividends are published. If we contacted you, it may be because your name appeared in such records or you may be connected to the original shareholder. Our intention is simply to inform potential investors or legal heirs about possible recovery options.
How did you obtain my personal information?
Any information we have is sourced only from publicly available records or regulatory disclosures. We do not access private financial data, bank accounts, or confidential personal information.

Wealth & Share Recovery

My shares/dividends have gone to IEPF. Are they lost?
No. They are not lost. Shares are transferred to IEPF if dividends remain unclaimed for seven consecutive years. They remain claimable by the rightful owner or legal heir through a structured process. The key is documentation accuracy and follow-up.
Can I recover shares transferred to IEPF?
Yes, the process is publicly available. However, many claims get delayed or rejected due to documentation gaps, signature mismatches, or incomplete coordination with companies and RTAs. Professional handling reduces back-and-forth and improves processing efficiency.
How long does the IEPF recovery process take?
Timelines vary depending on document readiness, company verification speed, KYC accuracy, and authority processing. Well-prepared cases move significantly smoother than cases with documentation errors.
What if my signature does not match company records?
Signature mismatches are common in old shareholding cases. There is a formal procedure involving bank attestation and verification documents to regularize the signature before recovery can proceed. This is manageable — but must be done correctly.
What if I have lost my physical share certificates?
Loss of certificates does not cancel ownership. A duplicate certificate process can be initiated before proceeding with recovery or transmission.
My shares are in physical form but still show as transferred to IEPF. How is that possible?
IEPF transfer is triggered by unclaimed dividends — not by possession of physical certificates. Even if you hold the certificates, shares may have been moved due to dividend inactivity.
Is there a time limit for recovering shares from IEPF?
There is no strict expiry deadline for claiming IEPF shares. However, earlier initiation ensures smoother document tracing and processing.
My parents invested years ago and have passed away. Can I still claim those shares?
Yes. Legal heirs can claim shares through transmission procedures. The documentation required depends on whether there is a Will, joint holding, nomination, or no nomination. We assess the structure first, then guide the correct legal route.
What if I don't know where my parents invested?
We assist in tracing investments using old dividend entries, partial company names, available share certificates, and the IEPF Portal. Even incomplete information can be a starting point.
What if the original shareholder passed away and certificates are also missing?
Such cases are more documentation-heavy but are still recoverable through structured duplicate and transmission procedures. Complex does not mean impossible — it just requires proper handling.

NRI Share & Asset Recovery

I am an NRI. Can I claim shares or investments in India?
Yes. NRIs can claim shares, IEPF investments, and inherited financial assets in India, subject to regulatory documentation.
Do NRIs need to visit India for recovery?
In most cases, physical presence is not mandatory. Processes can be managed through documentation and Power of Attorney where required.
Is an NRE/NRO account or PAN required?
Certain claims require PAN and Indian bank account details. If unavailable, we guide clients on how to regularize compliance.

Unlisted & Pre-IPO Shares

Do you assist in buying and selling unlisted shares?
Yes. We facilitate transactions in select unlisted and pre-IPO shares, subject to availability and compliance.
Do you guarantee liquidity or returns in unlisted shares?
No. Unlisted shares are market-linked and carry liquidity risks. We facilitate transactions but do not guarantee returns.

Other Asset Recovery Services

Can you help trace old mutual fund investments?
Yes. We assist in tracing dormant folios, completing KYC, and transmission coordination.
Do you assist with Provident Fund and insurance claims?
Yes. We assist in documentation and employer or insurer coordination in complex or delayed cases.
Do you provide Will drafting and estate planning services?
We work with empaneled legal professionals who assist clients with Will drafting and estate structuring.
Why do many share recovery cases get delayed or rejected?
Most delays happen due to incomplete documentation, mismatched KYC, or lack of structured follow-up. Recovery requires coordination between companies, RTAs, and authorities — execution strength matters.
