About Green Stapler

Built case by case

One person handling files slowly became a team — coordinating across cities, working with registrars and companies, and managing documentation end to end.

Green Stapler did not begin with the intention of becoming a share recovery firm.

Our work originally focused on documentation — helping individuals organize and complete financial paperwork correctly. It was detailed, process-driven work that required patience and accuracy.

Through our work, we regularly interacted with shareholders across the country. During these conversations, a recurring pattern emerged.

People would mention:

"I still have old share certificates at home."
"Dividends stopped coming years ago."
"Someone told me the shares might have gone to IEPF."
"My father had investments, but we don't know where to begin."

At first, we simply offered informal guidance. Occasionally we helped with documentation because we were already comfortable working with structured paperwork.

Over time, the requests increased.

The situations were rarely simple. Signatures no longer matched. Addresses had changed. Shareholders had passed away. Records were decades old.

One case led to another.

With every case, our understanding of company processes, documentation requirements and common procedural hurdles deepened.

Gradually, the work evolved from individual cases into structured practice.

What started with one person handling files slowly became a team — coordinating cases across cities, working with registrars and companies, and managing documentation end to end.

Today, Green Stapler operates with a dedicated team focused on helping investors and families resolve legacy shareholding and investment matters.

Most people who come to us do not believe their investments are lost. It's just that they do not have the time to navigate this.

Our role is to bring structure and persistence to that process — until the matter is resolved.

The Founders

People behind the practice

Mayank Lunawat, Co-Founder of Green Stapler

Mayank Lunawat

Co-Founder · Strategic & Regulatory

Mayank is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA from SP Jain. His early professional years were spent in investment banking, where regulatory processes, financial structuring, and documentation accuracy were part of everyday work.

When shareholders began approaching the group for help with documentation and recovery-related matters, the complexity of these cases was not unfamiliar. The work required patience, regulatory understanding, and structured execution — areas he was already comfortable operating in.

As the volume of such cases increased, he became closely involved in shaping the framework under which Green Stapler operates today — focused on documentation planning, case review, and execution standards.

He continues to oversee the strategic and regulatory aspects of the firm's work.
